Instructions and Help about File Form 5500-sf online

Hi everyone, Mitch Nichols here with Kong Dynamics. A friend of mine asked me if he could pull some data using the SI C code for auto dealerships. It's actually pretty easy with my database. Let's start with the 2010 dataset, as there will be more records by now. We just need to open up the schedules A, C, and H. In the SI C code area, let's set a filter for auto dealerships using the SI SI codes. I found the IRS business codes for used-car and new car dealerships to be 44 11 10 and 44 11 20, respectively. Let's enter those codes (4411 10 and 4411 20) into the filter and see what happens. We have a total of 7,300 records. This will pull all the schedule A's for auto dealerships. Keep in mind that if there are multiple schedule A's or brokers, the header record will remain constant as we cycle through the various insurance carriers and brokers. However, in my previous videos, I showed you how to remove duplicates in Excel with just a few mouse clicks. So here is a list of all the car dealerships that are in the regular 5500 form. Now, let's take a quick look at the short form, which is for employer groups with less than 100 employees. This form does not have any attached schedules like A or C, so we won't have any duplicates here. Let's apply the same filter (4411 10 and 4411 20) to this form. It pulled up a total of 20,267 records. As we scroll through, we can see a bunch of car dealerships here. These are unique records. Now, let's consider the states. We have two sets of states: one between Alabama and Michigan, and the other between Minnesota and Wyoming. Let's...
